  • • Own the success and growth of Mudflap’s largest merchant partnerships, serving as the primary relationship owner for enterprise-level fuel stop partners.
  • • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key merchant stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to drive long-term partnership growth.
  • • Monitor merchant performance metrics, identify operational trends and risks, and proactively implement improvements to enhance partner outcomes and retention.
  • • Lead complex partner conversations, including business reviews, escalations, and strategic planning sessions with urgency and ownership.
  • • Develop scalable playbooks, processes, and operational frameworks to support the expansion of Mudflap’s enterprise merchant network.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Support, Sales, and Leadership teams to advocate for partner needs and remove friction in the partner experience.
  • • Balance merchant requirements with company goals to ensure scalable, sustainable growth across a high-volume merchant ecosystem.
  • • Operate with speed and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift rapidly and ambiguity is common.
  • • Deliver clear, data-driven communication and reporting to both external partners and internal leadership teams to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • • Partner with Product and Operations teams to translate merchant feedback into actionable product and process improvements.
  • • Maintain a deep understanding of the trucking, fuel, logistics, and payments industries to provide informed guidance to partners.
  • • Utilize CRM platforms and analytics tools to track partner health, forecast performance, and identify upsell or retention opportunities.
  • • Travel periodically to meet with key partners in person, as required, to strengthen relationships and support strategic initiatives.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by questioning assumptions, testing new approaches, and sharing best practices across teams.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5–8+ years of experience in Partner Success, Customer Success, Account Management, Enterprise Support, or Strategic Partnerships
  • • Experience managing large, complex, or enterprise-level merchant/vendor relationships
  • • Strong industry expertise within fuel, trucking, logistics, mobility, retail, payments, or related merchant ecosystems preferred
  • • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • • Strong analytical and operational mindset with experience leveraging metrics and data to drive decisions and partner outcomes
  • • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, including experience working with executive stakeholders
