📋 Description
- • Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact for sponsors and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office throughout all phases of sponsorship engagement, from identification and cultivation through commitment, execution, and post-event stewardship.
- • Design, write, and submit high-quality event sponsorship proposals aligned with event goals and organizational priorities to support comprehensive fundraising strategies.
- • Manage the end-to-end sponsorship pipeline, including prospective sponsors, active negotiations, confirmed commitments, renewals, and opportunities for expanded engagement across multiple annual events.
- • Oversee fulfillment of all sponsor deliverables at in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring branding, activations, speaking opportunities, recognition, and other agreed-upon benefits are delivered to maximize sponsor satisfaction.
- • Act as an internal connector by identifying when sponsor relationships are ready to evolve beyond events and facilitating introductions to FoundationCCC teams such as Corporate Philanthropy and CollegeBuys & Strategic Partnerships to enable multi-faceted, long-term partnerships.
- • Lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of sponsorship processes, templates, timelines, and workflows to ensure consistent execution, clear accountability, and scalable operations across events.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Resource Development, Communications, and Marketing to drive event revenue, amplify organizational brand, and support strategic philanthropic partnerships.
- • Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, clients, and internal stakeholders through expert client management, negotiation, and communications skills.
- • Apply strong understanding of sponsorship value, audience engagement strategies, sponsor stewardship, and current trends in event sponsorship to optimize partnership outcomes.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven culture focused on improving access to higher education for millions of Californians through equity-minded, innovative, and collaborative approaches.
- • Operate within a remote-first environment with full responsibility for managing all aspects of partnership engagement from a California-based location.
- • Support the Foundation’s unique blend of nonprofit impact, entrepreneurial culture, and state agency scale by bringing expertise in higher education, philanthropy, and event logistics.
- • Participate in professional development initiatives and shared leadership practices to foster personal growth and organizational advancement.
