- • This role is not just about selling; it's about crafting strategic partnerships that deliver immense value to both our partners and our attendees. You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing deals with key players in the tech industry, ensuring they have a significant and impactful presence at our world-class conferences.
- • Your day-to-day will involve a blend of proactive outreach, consultative selling, and creative problem-solving. You'll be engaging with C-suite executives, marketing directors, and innovation leads from Fortune 500 companies to high-growth startups, understanding their unique business objectives and tailoring partnership proposals that align perfectly with their goals.
- • You will develop a deep understanding of the Web Summit portfolio of events, including our flagship Web Summit, Collision, RISE, and Impact, as well as emerging initiatives. This knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate the unique value proposition of partnering with us, highlighting the unparalleled access to a diverse and engaged audience of entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.
- • Key responsibilities will include:
- • Proactively identifying and qualifying new partnership opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential partners, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- • Conducting compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, articulating the benefits of various partnership packages.
- • Developing bespoke partnership proposals that address the specific needs and strategic objectives of each prospective client.
- • Negotiating and closing complex deals, ensuring favorable terms for both Web Summit and our partners.
- • Cultivating and strengthening long-term relationships with existing partners, fostering loyalty and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- • Collaborating closely with internal teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of partner activations and a positive overall experience.
- • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and identify new market opportunities.
- • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and partnership offerings.
