Your role as a Partnership Sales Executive will be central to maintaining and enhancing this legacy. You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing partnership deals with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from established tech giants like Microsoft, Meta, and Huawei to innovative startups and influential government bodies.
  • • This is more than just a sales role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of global technology dialogue.   • • Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by securing strategic partnerships for our flagship events. This involves understanding the unique needs and objectives of potential partners and crafting bespoke solutions that align with our conference offerings. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every client.
  • • You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our partner ecosystem. This includes conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and staying ahead of the competitive landscape to identify untapped potential.
  • • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective partners will be paramount. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business goals and demonstrating how a partnership with Web Summit can deliver significant value, whether through engaging exhibition spaces, insightful masterclass series, exclusive branding opportunities, curated networking events, or high-level strategic collaborations.
  • • You will collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of partnership agreements and the delivery of exceptional experiences for our clients and their attendees.
  • • Presenting Web Summit's value proposition and partnership opportunities to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, will be a regular part of your role. Your ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, backed by data and compelling case studies, will be crucial.
  • • You will be expected to manage a sales pipeline effectively, utilizing CRM tools to track progress, forecast revenue, and report on sales performance. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to pipeline management are essential for success.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology sector and its key players. You should be comfortable discussing emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in this dynamic industry.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the technology, media, or events industry.

  • • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and emerging trends.
  • • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
