  • • Lead and scale Kraken’s partnerships strategy across North America to drive growth in the distributed energy resources (DER) market.
  • • Build and nurture deep, strategic partnerships with manufacturers and ecosystem players in the low-carbon technology sector to enable direct integrations with KrakenFlex’s SaaS platform.
  • • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnerships roadmap aligned with Kraken’s goal of unlocking ÂŁ30bn in annual value from DERs across North America.
  • • Act as the primary point of contact for key manufacturer partners, ensuring seamless integration of their products with Kraken’s energy operating system.
  • • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with hardware vendors, energy storage providers, EV charging networks, and smart home technology firms.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams to align partnership initiatives with platform capabilities and customer needs.
  • • Represent KrakenFlex at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and foster ecosystem relationships.
  • • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform partnership strategy and maintain Kraken’s position as a thought leader in the energy technology space.
  • • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that deliver mutual value, drive adoption, and support Kraken’s SaaS subscription business model.
  • • Measure and report on partnership performance using key metrics including integration volume, revenue contribution, and customer impact.
  • • Work closely with regional sales teams to ensure partner-led customer acquisition and retention strategies are effectively executed.
  • • Advocate for partner feedback within Kraken’s product development cycle to enhance integration quality and user experience.
  • • Maintain a deep understanding of North American energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and DER deployment trends to guide partnership prioritization.
  • • Support the expansion of Kraken’s global ecosystem by aligning North American partnerships with international initiatives and scaling best practices.
  • • Ensure all partnerships contribute to Kraken’s mission of creating a smart, sustainable energy system that benefits utilities, customers, and the environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience leading partnerships or business development in the energy technology, clean tech, or SaaS industry
  • • Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic relationships with hardware manufacturers or technology ecosystem partners
  • • Deep understanding of distributed energy resources (DERs), smart grids, or energy market operations in North America
  • • Strong negotiation, contract structuring, and stakeholder management skills
  • • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams to drive integrated solutions
  • • Track record of scaling partnership programs that directly contribute to revenue growth or market expansion
