  • • As a Payment Operations Specialist at WeTravel, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of payment systems by supporting payment screening, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling safe and seamless group travel experiences worldwide.
  • • You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision, adaptability, and ownership are valued, taking initiative beyond narrowly defined tasks to support evolving operational needs across risk, compliance, finance, and customer-facing functions.
  • • The Payment Operations team is part of a global, mission-driven organization focused on building reliable, scalable, and compliant payment infrastructure that empowers travel organizers and clients across the world.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Legal, as well as external payment partners, to resolve complex cases and continuously improve operational workflows and tools.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in payment risk and operations, sharpen your analytical and judgment-based decision-making skills, and gain hands-on experience in fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and customer issue resolution within a fintech-travel hybrid environment.
  • • You will have the opportunity to own and drive ad-hoc operational projects, contribute to process improvements, and grow into a trusted operational expert who helps scale WeTravel’s payment capabilities as the business expands.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, or a related field
  • • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical, support, or operations role with customer-facing responsibilities, including handling sensitive or complex issues via email, phone, or video calls
  • • Familiarity with payment operations such as card payments, refunds, disputes, KYC, or reconciliations
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and make sound judgment calls
  • • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, adaptable, curious, and eager to learn beyond a fixed job scope
  • • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to process improvements across operational domains
