📋 Description

• As a Payment Specialist in Clinical Trial Financial Operations at Biogen, you will play a crucial role in managing investigator payments, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with clinical trial agreements, directly supporting the success of clinical studies.
• You will lead monthly payment reporting meetings with vendors, collaborate with study teams to resolve payment issues, review payment actuals for CTA compliance, draft payment terms in the CTA Financial Appendix, and liaise with vendors to resolve disputes and ensure funding availability.
• You will work within the Site Contracts Management team, partnering with study teams, budget hubs, and EDC functional groups to ensure seamless financial operations across Phase I-IV clinical trials.
• This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in clinical trial financial operations, strengthen cross-functional collaboration skills, and contribute to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of life-changing medical research.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or academic medical center in site payments or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in project management and financial analysis across Phase I-IV clinical trials.
• Excellent conflict resolution, decision making, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle high volume of tasks.
• Experience working with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with clinical trial agreements and payment processes (preferred).
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data (preferred).
