- • As a Payments Analyst at Verto Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of global cross-border payment flows, directly supporting the company’s mission to democratize global finance for businesses in emerging markets by enabling seamless, low-cost, and reliable international transactions.
- • You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of payment lifecycle operations, including monitoring high-volume payment queues, executing FX transactions, allocating liquidity for safeguarding runs, and serving as the key liaison between front- and back-office teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain operational continuity under strict SLAs.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: managing daily execution of cross-border payments and FX transactions with precision and adherence to deadlines; monitoring, tracking, and prioritizing payment queues to optimize throughput and team performance; executing liquidity allocation for payment processing and conducting daily safeguarding runs to comply with regulatory requirements; acting as the primary point of contact between front and back-office teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution; investigating and resolving client inquiries and payment issues through proactive communication with clients, banks, and internal stakeholders; maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes; identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements to enhance payment accuracy and speed; supporting month-end and quarter-end reconciliation activities; and participating in cross-functional initiatives to scale payment operations as Verto expands globally.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in fintech, financial services, or payments industry, with hands-on exposure to payment processing, FX transactions, or transaction monitoring.
- • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume transaction environments, with a proven ability to maintain zero-error processing under pressure.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of investigating discrepancies, tracing transaction flows, and implementing corrective actions.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with comfort engaging across teams, time zones, and stakeholder levels (including clients, banks, and internal partners).
- • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with effective workload prioritization and organizational skills.
- • Availability to work the scheduled shift: 2 PM – 11 PM EAT (East Africa Time).
