- • Join HomeMade, an approved aged-care provider on a mission to help older Australians live independently in their own homes. As our Payments and Claims Specialist you will be the engine-room of financial accuracy, ensuring every dollar of a customer’s Home Care Package is paid correctly and on time. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will directly influence the trust and satisfaction of thousands of customers and service providers.
- • Own the end-to-end supplier set-up process: create new service-provider profiles, validate ABNs and banking details, and configure payment rules so invoices flow seamlessly through our platform. You will be the first point of escalation when a provider cannot be paid, diagnosing issues and liaising with internal tech teams to unblock payments within SLA.
- • Monitor the dedicated service-provider inbox daily, triaging hundreds of invoices and reimbursement requests. You will apply policy checks, code line-items to the correct care categories, and approve or query invoices in under 24 hours while maintaining a 99 % accuracy target.
- • Execute fortnightly payment runs for Home Care Package administration, reconciling data between our CRM, the government’s My Aged Care portal and our ERP. You will run pre-payment audits, correct discrepancies, and generate remittance advice that gives customers complete transparency on how their funds are used.
- • Provide white-glove support to customers and providers via email, phone and chat. Whether it is explaining why an invoice was rejected, clarifying a statement line-item, or processing an urgent reimbursement for medical equipment, you will deliver clear, empathetic responses that turn complex finance jargon into plain English.
- • Maintain pristine data integrity across multiple systems. You will perform daily cross-system checks, update customer profiles with interaction notes, and upload signed service agreements, care plans and exit documentation to secure repositories so audit trails are always inspection-ready.
- • Collaborate with Customer Support, Collections and Clinical Coordination teams to resolve escalations. When a customer’s package is depleted, you will model funding scenarios, recommend schedule changes, and ensure continuity of care without financial surprises.
- • Champion continuous improvement by documenting process gaps, suggesting automation opportunities, and piloting new reconciliation tools. Your insights will shape product road-maps and reduce manual touch-points, freeing the team to focus on higher-value customer conversations.
- • Contribute to month-end close by preparing accrual journals, investigating aged creditors, and supporting external auditors with evidence packs. Your meticulous record-keeping will safeguard compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS financial requirements.
- • Embrace flexible operations support during peak periods—this could include taking customer calls, processing urgent off-cycle payments, or training new starters on invoice workflows. Your agility will ensure service levels never slip, even when volumes spike.
