- • Own and define the strategic roadmap for payments and financial infrastructure across Canals’ platform, ensuring seamless money movement within industrial supply chain workflows.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and implement payment architecture, including integrations with external payment providers, merchant onboarding systems, and transaction processing pipelines.
- • Partner directly with external payment processors, PSPs, and financial platforms to align product capabilities with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
- • Design intuitive, trust-driven payment experiences that simplify complex transaction flows, reduce operational friction, and improve user conversion rates for both distributors and their customers.
- • Deeply analyze user workflows across onboarding, payments, payouts, and transaction visibility to identify and eliminate pain points in high-stakes financial interactions.
- • Translate intricate financial, compliance, and operational requirements into clear, scalable product specifications that engineering can execute with precision.
- • Balance speed, risk, regulatory compliance, and user experience in every product decision, prioritizing reliability and clarity in financial interactions.
- • Define and track key product metrics including transaction success rates, onboarding conversion, payment adoption, operational efficiency, and reconciliation accuracy.
- • Work cross-functionally with operations, legal, finance, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on product execution, risk management, and scaling priorities.
- • Act as the product lead for financial infrastructure initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact between engineering, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
- • Champion user-centered design in financial products by translating technical complexity into simple, transparent experiences that build trust and reduce support burden.
- • Drive product experimentation and iteration around payment methods, payout timing, fee structures, and dispute resolution flows to optimize for adoption and retention.
- • Maintain deep awareness of industry trends in B2B payments, fintech infrastructure, and supply chain finance to inform product decisions and competitive positioning.
- • Contribute to building a robust product culture within Canals’ early-stage product team by promoting documentation, user research, and data-informed decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or platform products
- • Experience working with payment processors, PSPs, merchant onboarding systems, or financial infrastructure products
- • Strong understanding of transaction flows, payment operations, onboarding experiences, or financial workflow design
- • Ability to simplify technically complex systems into intuitive user experiences
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments
