📋 Description
- • The Payroll Associate II role at Ryder System, Inc. is responsible for compiling and recording employee time and payroll data for the weekly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of wages, deductions, and related payroll functions. This position plays a critical role in maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance across a large, multi-provincial workforce.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include importing, balancing, and processing weekly payroll via timekeeping systems; verifying payroll data for accuracy and compliance; reconciling processed payroll against payroll registers; ensuring adherence to internal audit controls; assisting employees, HR, and managers with payroll inquiries; tracking vacation accruals and processing requests; preparing payroll output for distribution; and supporting special projects or backup for other payroll cycles as needed.
