- • As Payroll Country Lead for Italy APL at Remote Technologies Inc., you will own the complete Country Pod for Italy, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in full compliance with Italian government regulations while providing guidance and mentorship to the team.
- • Day to day, you will serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on all payroll matters, manage relationships with third-party payroll providers and staffing agencies (APL), stay current with international payroll laws and tax regulations, develop and implement KPIs and SLAs, ensure documentation compliance with GDPR and internal governance, and support system development and testing for enhancements, particularly within the Zucchetti Paghe Project.

🎯 Requirements
- • Several years of work experience in regional/global payroll operations, including specific experience within Italian staffing agencies (APL)
- • Proven experience as a Payroll Expert with extensive knowledge of payroll preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes in an APL environment
- • Proficiency in using SAP, Excel/Google Sheets, and Zucchetti Paghe Project
- • Ability to manage risk, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential matters with discretion
- • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a passion for improving processes and speeding up work
- • Fluency in written and spoken English
