- • Serve as the primary payroll subject matter expert for Norway, ensuring full compliance with local legislation, tax laws, and regulatory standards for Strada Pay.
- • Monitor and analyze upcoming regulatory changes by tracking updates from government agencies, industry associations (e.g., Global Payroll Association), and compliance alert systems.
- • Collaborate directly with Product Development to influence the Strada Pay roadmap, ensuring country-specific features align with evolving Norwegian payroll requirements.
- • Maintain and update detailed country workbooks documenting legislative changes, compliance obligations, and operational procedures specific to Norway.
- • Identify inefficiencies in current payroll processes and lead initiatives to automate, standardize, and reduce manual workarounds within the Strada Pay platform.
- • Drive continuous improvement of Strada Pay methodologies, delivery templates, and operational standards tailored to the Norwegian market.
- • Provide expert guidance during client deployments in Norway, ensuring seamless transitions from implementation to live operations with full regulatory adherence.
- • Act as a gatekeeper for client customization requests, balancing innovation with platform standardization and legal compliance.
- • Support pre-sales efforts by demonstrating Strada Pay’s capabilities to prospective clients, sharing real-world insights, implementation lessons, and best practices for Norway.
- • Collaborate with the global network of Payroll Country Champions to align practices, share knowledge, and ensure consistency across international markets.
- • Translate complex payroll regulations and technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams and external clients.
- • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation, communications, and process improvements.
- • Operate independently with strong ownership and accountability while actively engaging with cross-functional teams across product, compliance, and client services.
- • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, global environment with evolving priorities and shifting regulatory landscapes.
- • Contribute to the strategic evolution of Strada Pay by identifying opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness, user experience, and scalability for Norwegian customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Payroll or HR Outsourcing
- • Deep knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements within Norway
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex topics into clear insights
- • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, global working environment
