- • As a Payroll Lead, Implementations for Denmark (Nordics), you will serve as the subject matter expert for payroll in the region, driving end-to-end implementation projects that enable businesses to compliantly hire and pay international teams. Your work directly supports Remote’s mission to simplify global employment by ensuring seamless onboarding of Nordic clients onto our platform, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
- • Day to day, you will lead payroll implementation projects from sales handover through parallel runs and first-month live payroll, act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, attend sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead, develop and maintain project plans and SOPs, mentor Payroll Generalists, support UAT testing for platform improvements, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- • You will join the Payroll Implementation team within Remote’s Global Payroll function, a fully remote, globally distributed team spanning 6 continents. The team operates asynchronously with a strong focus on innovation, automation, and AI-enabled processes, aligned with Remote’s core values of building a best-in-class HR platform through diverse talent and continuous improvement.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Nordic payroll legislation—particularly Denmark—gain hands-on experience with Intega, SAP, and Excel/Google Sheets, lead cross-functional implementation projects, influence product development through UAT feedback, and grow into a trusted advisor who shapes both client success and internal payroll operations at a scale that impacts global workforce management.
