  • • Distro, Inc. is embarking on an exciting period of growth, expanding its reach to support an increasing number of online clients globally. This expansion brings with it increasingly complex payroll scenarios, demanding a highly analytical and technically proficient Payroll Manager to join our dedicated global payroll team. If you thrive on dissecting intricate problems, meticulously investigating discrepancies, and independently managing sophisticated payroll cases, this role is tailor-made for you.
  • • As our Payroll Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and compliant execution of payroll processes across various jurisdictions. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire payroll lifecycle, from data input and validation to final disbursement and reporting, ensuring strict adherence to both local Colombian regulations and international compliance standards. This involves a deep understanding of payroll legislation, tax laws, and social security contributions, and the ability to translate these into accurate and efficient payroll operations.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves proactive problem-solving. You will be tasked with identifying and investigating any payroll discrepancies that may arise. This requires a sharp analytical mind to perform thorough root-cause analysis, pinpointing the origin of errors or inefficiencies. Once identified, you will be expected to develop and propose sustainable, long-term solutions that not only rectify the immediate issue but also prevent its recurrence, thereby enhancing the overall integrity and reliability of our payroll system.
  • • Effective communication is paramount. You will need to clearly articulate complex technical findings, payroll calculations, and compliance requirements to a diverse audience, including our valued clients and various internal teams. This involves translating intricate payroll data and processes into easily understandable terms, fostering transparency and trust. Your ability to present information concisely and confidently, whether in written reports or verbal discussions, will be crucial for maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • • To support our growing knowledge base and ensure consistency across the team, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting all payroll processes, procedures, and resolutions. This documentation will serve as a valuable resource for training new team members, standardizing workflows, and maintaining institutional knowledge, especially as our operations scale.
  • • You will become adept at navigating and leveraging our payroll platforms. This includes troubleshooting technical issues that may arise, collaborating with IT or platform vendors when necessary, and demonstrating a rapid ability to learn and master new systems and software as they are implemented. Your technical aptitude will be a key asset in optimizing our payroll technology stack.
  • • Continuous improvement is a core tenet of our team's philosophy. You will be encouraged to proactively identify opportunities for enhancing our payroll operations. This includes recommending process optimizations, suggesting the adoption of new technologies, and implementing best practices to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy. Your insights will directly contribute to the evolution of our payroll function.
  • • Handling sensitive payroll data requires the utmost discretion and responsibility. You will manage all payroll-related information with unwavering accuracy, ensuring strict confidentiality and full compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations. This includes safeguarding employee information and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • • In a high-compliance and deadline-driven environment, your ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under pressure is essential. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines without compromising the accuracy and reliability of your output. This role demands a meticulous approach and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Distro, Inc.'s global operations. You will be a key player in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, contributing directly to employee satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our business. Your expertise will be vital as we continue to expand our international presence and serve a growing client base.
