Payroll Operations Manager

📋 Description

• • As a Payroll Operations Manager on Miter’s Launch team, you will play a critical role in helping construction contractors successfully onboard by ensuring accurate year-to-date payroll and tax data transfers, which is essential for compliant and timely go-lives.
• • Day to day, you will lead YTD data transfers during customer onboarding, transform payroll and tax data from PDFs and spreadsheets into Miter’s required formats, manage 20+ concurrent implementations, conduct mapping discussions with customers, identify and correct data discrepancies, and collaborate with Launch Managers and Biz Operations to improve processes.
• • You will join a fast-paced, highly collaborative team at Miter, a rapidly growing vertical software company using AI and embedded payments to modernize HR, finance, and operations systems for construction contractors, backed by $50M+ from top investors including Bessemer, Coatue, and Battery.
• • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in payroll data validation, tax compliance, and enterprise software onboarding, while strengthening project management, stakeholder communication, and process improvement skills in a high-impact, learning-driven environment.
