- • Manage end-to-end global payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with region-specific employment tax regulations and securities requirements.
- • Oversee month-end and year-end payroll close procedures, including reconciliations and reporting to ensure financial accuracy and audit readiness.
- • Review and automate employee termination payment calculations for redundancies, resignations, and terminations to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
- • Deliver in-depth analysis of global payroll data to support Finance and HR teams in forecasting employee costs, identifying trends, and driving strategic workforce planning.
- • Lead the implementation of a unified global payroll system across all entities, leveraging system integrations to maximize automation and workflow efficiency.
- • Drive continuous process improvements in payroll operations by identifying bottlenecks, reducing errors, and enhancing the employee experience through scalable solutions.
- • Partner with Legal and HR teams to support international entity set-ups and Employment of Record (EOR) implementations as part of global expansion initiatives.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries received via JIRA and Slack, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
- • Develop and maintain a comprehensive payroll knowledge repository, including documented processes, FAQs, and standardized response templates to improve internal consistency and reduce repetitive queries.
- • Provide guidance and education to employees and stakeholders on pay-related matters, including award changes, policy updates, and compliance requirements.
- • Manage relationships with payroll vendors and ensure service levels, contractual obligations, and data security standards are met.
- • Maintain expertise in private equity structures, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), and associated reporting and compliance obligations.
- • Ensure all payroll activities adhere to strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive employee data and financial information.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, and Tech teams to align payroll systems with broader organizational goals and technological upgrades.
- • Support the evolution of payroll tools and platforms to implement best practices, optimize data flows, and enable scalable global operations.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving payroll regulations across UK and international markets to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
