📋 Description

• • As a Payroll Risk & Compliance Expert - LATAM, you will be the accountable owner of payroll compliance for your country or region, ensuring Remote meets and anticipates regulatory standards by translating complex legislation into scalable processes, systems, and documentation.
• • Day to day, you will own compliance for your jurisdiction, embed legislative requirements into Remote’s product by partnering with Product and Engineering, lead multi-country audits and investigations, design governance frameworks, build training materials, and partner cross-functionally to ensure compliance is embedded in decision-making.
• • You will join the Payroll Strategy and Compliance team at Remote Technologies Inc., a fully remote global company solving international employment challenges through innovation, automation, and AI, with team members across six continents and a mission to build the best-in-class HR platform.
• • In this role, you will shape how Remote builds compliance into global payroll systems, influence cross-regional compliance frameworks, develop thought leadership through documentation and speaking, mentor future compliance leaders, and drive innovation in automation and knowledge systems while growing your expertise in global payroll at scale.
