📋 Description

• • As a Payroll Risk & Compliance Expert for UK&I, you will be the accountable owner of payroll compliance for your region, ensuring Remote meets and anticipates regulatory standards through deep expertise in local legislation and its application to payroll systems and processes.
• • Day to day, you will translate statutory rules into product requirements, lead audits and investigations, design scalable compliance frameworks, partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Support teams, and mentor internal teams through training and documentation to embed compliance across the organisation.
• • You will join Remote’s Payroll Strategy and Compliance team, a global, fully remote organisation committed to building best-in-class HR technology with innovation, AI, and automation at its core, operating across 6 continents with a culture of asynchronous work and employee empowerment.
• • In this role, you will grow as a strategic compliance architect, gaining influence in product design, leading high-risk audits and incident resolution, and developing scalable systems that shape how Remote delivers compliant global payroll at scale.
