📋 Description

  • Execute payroll processing for employees across the United States, ensuring accuracy and adherence to multiple pay frequencies including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • Meet defined service level agreements (SLAs) for ticket resolution, payroll processing timelines, and calculation accuracy across all client payroll runs.
  • Validate payroll data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring alignment between source systems and payroll outputs.
  • Generate and deliver weekly and ad hoc payroll reports to internal stakeholders, including finance, client services, and account management teams.
  • Process payroll and invoice data within Pebl’s global finance platform to support audit readiness and deliver accurate, compliant client payroll packages.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, finance, and account management teams to ensure accurate and timely data inputs into HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Support account management teams with payroll-related and billing inquiries from global clients, providing clear, timely, and compliant responses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. state, local, and regional payroll regulations, including PEO compliance requirements and tax filing obligations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality protocols and exercise discretion in handling sensitive employee and client payroll data.
  • Demonstrate initiative through independent research to resolve complex payroll issues and improve process efficiency in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Adapt to evolving client business models and payroll needs, immersing in the unique employment structures of Pebl’s global client base.
  • Manage multiple concurrent payroll cycles and client requests with strong organizational skills, meeting all deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of payroll discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll workflows, reporting standards, and client service delivery within a startup-scale global operations environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience processing payroll with expertise in North America.
  • English fluency required.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Experience working in global HRIS/payroll platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP is desirable.
  • Experience working in Expensify or a similar expense management platform is desirable.
