- • As a Payroll Specialist Lead in Denmark, you will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing payroll for international teams while supporting Remote’s mission to simplify global employment.
- • Day to day, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing including statutory filings, approvals, payments, and reconciliations; maintain data integrity; mentor junior payroll specialists; support regional managers during absences; and collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to improve processes and meet KPIs and SLAs.
- • You will join Remote’s Global Payroll Operations Team, part of a fully remote, globally distributed company with team members across six continents, driven by core values of innovation, asynchronous work, and building a best-in-class HR platform through diverse talent and AI-enabled automation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global payroll compliance, lead process improvements, develop mentoring and leadership skills, and gain exposure to cross-functional initiatives that impact international employment at scale.

- • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets
- • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, asynchronous work environment
- • Fluent English (written and spoken)
