📋 Description

• • As a Payroll Specialist Lead at Remote, you will serve as a subject matter expert for UK payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of payroll for international teams while driving process improvements and mentoring junior specialists.
• • Day to day, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing including statutory filings, reconciliations, approvals, and payments; maintain data integrity; support regional managers during absences; collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams; and implement process improvements focused on KPIs and SLAs.
• • You will join Remote’s Global Payroll Operations Team, part of a fully remote, globally distributed company solving complex global employment challenges through innovation, automation, and AI, with team members across six continents and a culture rooted in asynchronous work and employee empowerment.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international payroll compliance, develop leadership and mentoring skills, gain exposure to cross-functional HR tech systems (including SAP and AI-driven tools), and contribute to scalable payroll processes that support Remote’s mission of fair, equitable global compensation.
