📋 Description

• The Payroll Specialist Lead - Ukraine is a critical individual contributor role within Remote’s global payroll organization, responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll operations in Ukraine while contributing to the scalability and improvement of global payroll processes.
• Day to day, the role involves owning end-to-end payroll execution for assigned jurisdictions, validating inputs and calculations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, acting as a subject matter expert on Ukrainian payroll requirements, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements and automation/AI adoption.
• The Payroll Operations team at Remote is part of a globally distributed, async-first workforce spanning 6 continents, focused on building a best-in-class HR platform that enables compliant global employment through innovation, automation, and AI.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in complex payroll environments, lead operational improvements, gain exposure to global payroll systems and regulatory frameworks, and develop influence in shaping scalable, compliant payroll operations while working in a dynamic, remote-first culture.
