📋 Description

• The Payroll Specialist US role at Distro, Inc. is critical to ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and trust in payroll operations.
• The person will process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll, review timesheets and wages, calculate taxes and deductions, maintain payroll records, and support HR with onboarding, terminations, and compensation changes.
• The role partners closely with HR and Finance to uphold clean, compliant payroll processes and supports employees with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
• The person will gain deep expertise in U.S. payroll compliance, tax regulations, and payroll systems while developing problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of payroll processing experience
• Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and tax withholdings
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms
• High attention to detail with proven accuracy under deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
