📋 Description

• • As a Payroll Strategy & Compliance Expert for Eastern Europe, you will be the accountable owner of payroll compliance for your region, ensuring Remote meets and anticipates regulatory standards across its global payroll platform.
• • Day to day, you will translate complex local legislation into scalable product requirements, lead audits and investigations, design compliance processes and governance frameworks, mentor internal teams, and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Support to embed compliance into decision-making.
• • You will join Remote’s Payroll Strategy and Compliance team, a globally distributed group focused on building compliant, automated payroll systems at scale, operating asynchronously across six continents with a mission to simplify global employment.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international payroll compliance, influence product design with regulatory insight, lead high-impact audit and incident resolution initiatives, and grow as a systems thinker and mentor shaping Remote’s global compliance capability.
