  • • Netrix Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PC Deployment Technician to join our team on a temporary, on-site basis in Audubon, PA. This crucial role is instrumental in the successful and timely execution of customer projects, ensuring a seamless technology experience for our clients. As a PC Deployment Technician, you will be at the forefront of large-scale technology rollouts, directly impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be expected to work autonomously, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, and also collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve project milestones.
  • • This position demands an individual who can thrive in high-volume settings, adapt to ever-changing project variables, and maintain a professional demeanor during face-to-face client interactions. Your ability to meticulously follow documented processes, coupled with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, will be paramount to your success. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the installation and configuration of hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that client environments are left in pristine condition.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve performing PC refreshes at client sites. This entails adhering to strict, scripted procedures for migrating end-user data to new machines, configuring essential software such as Microsoft Office, web browsers, and printers, and setting up laptop docking stations and other peripherals. You will work closely with a designated Team Lead, following a daily schedule to refresh multiple machines while diligently tracking all required data on deployment sheets for each user. Maintaining the client's workspace with the utmost care, leaving it as good as or better than you found it, is a core expectation.
  • • Beyond PC deployments, you will also be involved in the configuration of various devices, including iPads, Microsoft Surfaces, and laptops, for both remote Netrix employees and clients. This will require you to follow specific, scripted procedures to configure these devices according to client specifications. Proactive communication with your Team Lead is essential, especially when encountering issues or requiring assistance with device configuration.
  • • The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of various Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11, as well as experience with the Mac OS platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Office configuration and usage is also a key requirement. General PC troubleshooting skills and a foundational knowledge of networking concepts and their practical application are necessary to effectively address and resolve technical challenges that may arise during deployments.
  • • Your role as a PC Deployment Technician is not just about technical execution; it's about representing Netrix Global with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. You are a direct ambassador of our company while on client premises. This means engaging with end-users during deployments, interacting with client IT staff to address any deployment-related issues or other needs, and ensuring a positive and productive client experience.
  • • This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large-scale IT projects and diverse client environments. You will be an integral part of a team focused on delivering high-quality IT services and solutions. The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team effort are all critical components of this role. Your contributions will directly support Netrix Global's mission to provide robust, reliable, and secure technology solutions that empower businesses.
  • • The work environment is primarily client-site based, with potential for remote reporting to your manager. You will be working within a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday during the first shift. There may be occasional requirements for second shift work (Monday through Thursday) or potential for first shift work on Fridays to prepare for the upcoming week, depending on project demands. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to expand their technical skillset in a dynamic, project-driven setting.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience working with various Microsoft Operating Systems platforms (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11) and Mac OS.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office configuration and usage, printer installations, and general PC troubleshooting.
  • • Familiarity with basic networking knowledge and skills, and the ability to follow documented processes for software installation and configuration.
  • • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to gain experience in large-scale IT project deployments.
  • • Exposure to diverse client environments and technologies.
  • • Temporary role offering flexibility and project-based work.
  • • Professional development through hands-on technical experience.
