- • As a Talent Headhunting Partner at Pearl Talent, you will be at the forefront of connecting exceptional, passive talent with groundbreaking startups in the US and EU. This role is specifically designed for individuals who excel at identifying, engaging, and converting candidates who are not actively looking for new opportunities. You will operate as a specialist, focusing on outbound strategies to bring in top-tier professionals who are currently employed and thriving in their roles. Your primary mandate is to proactively seek out and attract individuals who possess the skills, drive, and potential to become long-term assets to our client companies, which include some of the most innovative and well-funded startups backed by industry leaders like OpenAI, a16z, and Founders Fund.
- • Your day-to-day will involve a strategic blend of identifying high-caliber passive candidates and executing highly personalized outreach campaigns. You will be responsible for understanding the intricate needs of our clients and translating them into compelling value propositions for potential candidates. This requires a deep understanding of the tech landscape, market trends, and what motivates top professionals to consider a career move, even when they are not actively searching. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver a steady flow of high-quality, TA-ready candidates who are not only a strong fit for the role but also aligned with the client's culture and long-term vision.
- • A significant portion of your role (80%) will be dedicated to passive headhunting. This means you will be identifying individuals who are currently employed, performing well, and likely content in their current positions. Your challenge and reward will come from your ability to pique their interest, demonstrate the unique value proposition of our clients' opportunities, and guide them through the initial stages of the recruitment process. This involves crafting bespoke messaging, leveraging various communication channels effectively, and building rapport to foster trust and encourage engagement.
- • The remaining 20% of your time will be focused on pipeline readiness and maintenance. This ensures that the high-quality candidates you engage are meticulously logged and staged within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Maintaining clean, up-to-date pipelines is crucial for seamless handoffs to our Talent Acquisition Partners. You will monitor candidate progress, proactively follow up to prevent any potential drop-offs, and collaborate closely with the Talent Sourcing Coordinator to uphold the highest standards of pipeline hygiene. This structured approach ensures that your headhunting efforts translate directly into tangible recruitment outcomes for our clients.
- • Your impact will be significant. You will act as a key specialist in engaging and converting currently employed talent, a notoriously challenging but highly rewarding segment of the candidate pool. You will own the outbound headhunting outcomes for specialized and priority roles, directly contributing to the growth and success of our client companies. By maintaining high response and conversion rates through your personalized outreach, you will deliver consistent, high-signal candidate pipelines that are essential for filling critical positions. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to adapt your headhunting strategies based on real-time feedback and results, continuously refining your approach to maximize effectiveness.
- • This role is distinct from traditional recruitment. You will not be sourcing candidates who are actively job searching, nor will you be managing job board postings, owning reporting logic, or conducting final interviews and hiring decisions. Instead, your expertise will be focused solely on the art and science of passive headhunting – identifying, engaging, and pre-qualifying the best talent before they even consider looking for a new role. You will be instrumental in building the talent pipelines that fuel the growth of some of the most exciting startups in the tech world, offering candidates unparalleled opportunities for career advancement, including potential relocation to the US and EU, and promotions to roles matching onshore talent.
- • The core responsibilities include identifying and engaging candidates who are currently employed and not actively job searching. You will build targeted outreach strategies tailored to specific role requirements and seniority levels. Crafting personalized messaging that resonates with passive candidates and effectively converts them is paramount. You will conduct initial pre-qualification to confirm role alignment, compensation expectations, and motivation/availability. Utilizing tools like voice notes or asynchronous communication will be encouraged to enhance conversion rates. You will also partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to refine targeting and calibration, ensuring a continuous feedback loop that optimizes your headhunting efforts. Your dedication to this specialized approach will be key to unlocking hidden talent and driving success for Pearl Talent and its esteemed clientele.

- • Proven experience in talent acquisition, executive search, or recruitment, with a strong emphasis on outbound and passive candidate engagement.

- • Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and target passive candidates effectively using various tools and methodologies.
