📋 Description
- • Are you a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children and their families? Hire Hangar is thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking organization that is committed to delivering exceptional, child-centered speech and language services within a nurturing and supportive environment. This role offers a unique blend of clinic-based and community-based practice, allowing you to leverage your expertise across diverse settings while benefiting from a strong emphasis on mentorship and continuous professional development. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled in delivering high-quality therapy but also thrives in a collaborative atmosphere and is eager to contribute to a growing global company's mission.
- • As a Pediatric SLP with our partner, you will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive speech and language services tailored to the unique needs of each child. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of clinical practice, beginning with thorough and accurate pediatric speech and language evaluations. You will meticulously assess communication abilities, identify areas of challenge, and translate these findings into clear, measurable, and achievable goals that guide the therapeutic process. This foundational step ensures that every child receives a personalized intervention plan designed for maximum efficacy and progress.
- • Following the evaluation, you will transition into delivering engaging and dynamic therapy sessions. This involves working with children presenting with a wide range of communication needs, including but not limited to speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology), language delays and disorders (receptive and expressive), fluency disorders (stuttering), voice disorders, and social communication challenges (pragmatics). Your therapeutic approach will be creative, evidence-based, and adaptable to the developmental level and interests of each child, ensuring therapy is both effective and enjoyable. A key component of your role will be empowering families through comprehensive caregiver coaching. You will equip parents and guardians with practical strategies and techniques for home carryover, fostering a consistent and supportive communication environment outside of therapy sessions. This collaborative approach with families is crucial for reinforcing learning and achieving sustainable progress.
- • Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation is paramount. You will be responsible for completing evaluation reports, daily treatment notes, and progress updates with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to all professional and organizational standards. This ensures continuity of care and provides a clear record of the child's journey. Collaboration is a cornerstone of this role. You will work closely with supervisors, interdisciplinary teammates (such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators), and referral sources to ensure a holistic approach to child development and to advocate for the child's needs across various contexts.
- • We strongly believe in the power of professional growth. You will actively participate in mentoring sessions, receiving guidance from experienced clinicians, and will be encouraged to engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology. This commitment to learning ensures you remain at the cutting edge of your field. To support a consistent and manageable caseload, you will need to employ strong organizational skills and effective time management strategies, balancing clinical duties with administrative tasks and professional development.
- • This multi-site position in the Lawrenceville, Peachtree Corners, and Loganville areas of Georgia offers flexibility and the chance to serve a diverse population. You will be instrumental in helping children overcome communication barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. If you are driven by a desire to make a tangible difference and are looking for a role that values your expertise, supports your growth, and offers a rewarding career path, we encourage you to apply. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a mission that truly matters.
