• • YOUR ROLE: OFFENSIVE SECURITY ENGINEER
• • As an Offensive Security Engineer at X-Bow, you will play a pivotal role in validating, triaging, and refining the output generated by our sophisticated AI-powered offensive engine.
• • This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the absolute cutting edge of offensive security, focusing on distinguishing genuine vulnerabilities from noise, reverse-engineering false positives, and providing critical insights that guide the evolution of our product.
• • You will engage in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Research & Development (R&D), AI researchers, and our internal Security team, to ensure the AI system consistently produces high-quality, evidence-based findings.
• • You will serve as a crucial liaison, bridging the gap between our customers, engineering efforts, and research initiatives, thereby helping us validate real-world impact, identify emerging exploit patterns, and continuously enhance our attack methodologies.

• • WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• • Triage and analyze the output from our AI offensive engine, meticulously validating identified vulnerabilities and effectively separating critical signals from extraneous noise.
• • Conduct in-depth vulnerability analysis of false positives to pinpoint root causes, inform improvements to detection logic, and refine the behavior of our AI models.
• • Collaborate effectively with Product, R&D, and AI teams, providing structured, actionable feedback on exploit quality, identifying edge cases, and reporting on system behavior.
• • Perform comprehensive analysis of discovered vulnerabilities and provide support for AI-driven reporting processes.
• • Assist customers by providing clear explanations of findings, helping them reproduce identified issues, and validating the real-world impact of vulnerabilities.
• • Develop and document robust, repeatable methodologies for evaluating exploit chains, proof-of-concept (PoC) behavior, and diverse attack patterns.
• • Take ownership of investigations from initiation through to completion, encompassing initial triage, deep-dive analysis, and formulating final recommendations for remediation or model enhancement.
• • Continuously engage in research to discover new vulnerability classes, explore advanced exploitation techniques, and refine reverse engineering workflows to drive the platform's ongoing evolution.
• • Contribute to the development of new offensive security techniques and methodologies that can be integrated into the AI engine.
