  • • Aggreko Limited is seeking a highly experienced and strategic People Business Partner to join our dynamic team, operating remotely within the Northeastern United States. As a global leader in providing essential energy solutions, Aggreko plays a critical role in enabling businesses to grow and communities to thrive. Our mission extends beyond delivering power; we are dedicated to making a tangible difference to our customers, local communities, and the pursuit of a sustainable future. This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our Field Operations, encompassing technicians, operational excellence initiatives, and workforce scheduling, thereby directly contributing to our customers' access to vital electricity, heating, and cooling.
  • • In this capacity, you will serve as a key strategic advisor, deeply embedded within the Field Operations function. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with VPs across the US and the broader People team to proactively identify and address immediate and future business priorities. You will be instrumental in shaping and influencing the development of the Field Operations strategy, offering expert challenge and consultation to support critical people and talent initiatives. This involves a deep understanding of the operational landscape and the ability to translate business needs into effective HR strategies.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve leading organizational change and development efforts, particularly those required to support substantial business growth. You will be responsible for defining and meticulously managing comprehensive workforce plans that underpin the talent and capability strategy for the region. This strategic planning encompasses all facets of talent management, including recruitment, talent development, learning and development programs, and early careers initiatives. Your expertise will ensure we have the right people with the right skills in the right places to meet evolving business demands.
  • • As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will coach and challenge leaders to enhance their leadership qualities and capabilities. This mentorship is crucial for fostering a high-performance culture and developing a strong pipeline of future leaders within the organization. You will act as the primary point of contact for the People Function, liaising effectively with senior business leaders. This includes engaging with People Services and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to articulate business requirements and ensure effective planning and execution of HR strategies.
  • • Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies. Your understanding of employment law and best practices will be vital in mitigating risks and maintaining a compliant and ethical workplace. This role demands a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a strong emphasis on building robust relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field, coupled with 10-15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, encompassing strategy, operations, and business partnering. A proven track record as a strategic business partner, with demonstrated experience across all HR functional areas, is essential. Experience within supply chain, manufacturing, or operations sectors is highly desirable, as it provides valuable context for the challenges and opportunities within Field Operations. You should possess strong working knowledge of change management and transformation methodologies, with a history of successfully leading and implementing significant organizational changes.
  • • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills are paramount. You must be adept at building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Vice Presidents and senior leadership. Your ability to influence decision-making, drive consensus, and effectively communicate complex HR strategies will be critical to your success. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the people strategy of a vital business function within a globally recognized company, contributing directly to our mission of powering progress and enabling sustainable growth.
