- • In this critical role as People Business Partner, you will serve as a senior strategic partner to leadership, upholding rigorous performance standards, ensuring accountability, and safeguarding employment governance across the organization. Your responsibilities will extend beyond acting as an escalation point for complex or high-risk situations; you will proactively engage to clarify expectations, ensure decision consistency, and reinforce leadership accountability as the company scales.
- • To maintain fairness and decision quality during this growth phase, Legora is intentionally separating Talent Acceleration functions from Risk & Governance. While the People Enablement Partner will focus on hiring and team expansion, you will be instrumental in ensuring that performance integrity, compliance, and governance maturity evolve in lockstep with the company's growth.
- • This role demands a unique blend of strong business acumen and meticulous legal precision. You will take the lead on intricate employee relations matters, provide expert advice on employment risk, define and refine performance standards and calibration processes, and fortify the structural foundations essential for consistent and defensible decision-making.
- • In situations marked by ambiguity or difficulty, you will be the source of clarity, structure, and composure, guiding the business towards decisions that are robust and withstand scrutiny.
- • Key responsibilities include: Owning complex employee relations matters from inception to resolution, encompassing performance improvement plans, thorough investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and sensitive absence management cases, all while ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and legally sound.
- • Collaborating closely with leaders on performance standards, calibration sessions, and critical organizational decisions, thereby upholding consistency, accountability, and high-quality documentation across all teams.
- • Providing expert advice and guidance to leadership during organizational changes, restructurings, and other significant structural shifts, ensuring full legal compliance, effective risk mitigation, and disciplined execution.
- • Proactively intervening in early-stage performance or conduct concerns to enhance manager capabilities and ensure issues are addressed effectively before formal escalation is required.
- • Offering counsel on labor law and employment risk across various jurisdictions, facilitating commercially viable and compliant decision-making.
- • Strengthening scalable governance frameworks by refining Employee Relations (ER) processes, enhancing documentation standards, and implementing structural safeguards that underpin disciplined growth.
- • As Legora continues to expand, you will be responsible for designing and reinforcing scalable ER and governance processes that enable us to operate with agility without compromising our core integrity.
- • In close collaboration with the People Enablement Partner, you will ensure seamless transitions throughout the employment lifecycle, maintain alignment between performance frameworks and formal ER processes, and uphold consistent documentation standards.
