- • The People Business Partner, Employee Relations & Governance role is instrumental in building and maintaining foundational governance for Remote’s global workforce, ensuring compliance, fairness, and scalability of People practices across diverse jurisdictions.
- • Day to day, you will own the full lifecycle of global People policies, lead complex employee relations investigations, serve as the consultative layer for performance management, identify systemic risks from ER and compliance data, and partner with Legal, People Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to drive consistent, fair application of policies and mitigate legal risk.
- • You will join the People Team - People Partners at Remote Technologies Inc., a fully remote company with team members across 6 continents, dedicated to solving global employment challenges through innovation, automation, and AI-enabled HR solutions while fostering a culture of belonging and internal mobility.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global employee relations, policy governance, and compliance at scale, develop strategic recommendations that shape organizational standards, and gain influence as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on risk mitigation and people operations excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience working within a People function with a primary focus on Employee Relations and Compliance
- • Proven track record of managing and resolving complex ER cases across multiple jurisdictions
- • Exceptional capability to analyze systemic ER and compliance data, identify risks and trends, and translate findings into actionable strategic recommendations
- • Experience advising management on best practices to mitigate legal risk and promote positive employee engagement
- • Demonstrated ability to design, own, and execute the full lifecycle of global People policies (drafting, review, implementation, maintenance) in partnership with Legal and senior stakeholders
- • Expertise in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and consultation guides for consistent, fair, and scalable policy application globally
