- • As Pulley’s first dedicated People Operations hire, you will own the infrastructure that enables employees to do their best work, building and operating end-to-end people systems from scratch.
- • Day to day, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, oversee total rewards including compensation and benefits, lead performance and development processes, handle employee relations with discretion, steward compliance and policy, manage HR technology and hardware provisioning, and foster belonging through rituals, celebrations, and offsites.
- • You will join a fast-growing, mission-driven company that helps top architects, builders, and retailers accelerate commercial projects through AI-powered permitting intelligence, backed by top-tier investors and serving clients like J.Crew, Solidcore, and Hibbett Sports.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to architect scalable People Ops playbooks, influence company culture from the ground up, develop expertise in HR technology and compliance, and grow as a strategic builder in a high-impact, early-stage environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience scaling a People Ops function, ideally as an early People hire at a fast-growing business
- • Standout writing ability for policies, communications, manager talking points, and SOPs
- • Ability to act as a builder who systematizes scattered processes and leverages technology for efficiency
- • High judgment and low-drama approach to sensitive employee relations and discretion
- • Natural context switching between onboarding, HRIS configurations, and performance management conversations
- • Minimum 3 days/week in-person presence at the NYC (FiDi) office
