📋 Description

• • As a People Operations Associate at WaveMM1 LLC, you will be the first point of contact for all human resources requests from employees in Sierra Leone, playing a critical role in supporting the company’s mission to make Africa the first cashless continent by ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance.
• • Day to day, you will compile and update employee records (both hard and soft copies and in HRIS), manage documentation and prepare reports on employee activities, ensure HR compliance with internal policies and Sierra Leone labor law, assist the Payroll team with supporting data for payroll preparation, manage outsourced employees, coordinate onboarding and off-boarding with Recruiting, Payroll, Accounting, and Finance teams, oversee office administration and logistics, track and report on Sierra Leone’s HR budget, manage domestic and international travel arrangements, and handle employee relations, complaints, and queries.
• • You will join a rapidly growing, mission-driven team operating across nine African countries—Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Uganda, Niger, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon—with remote members worldwide. • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Sierra Leone labor law and HR compliance, gain end-to-end experience in HR operations within a fast-scaling international fintech, develop skills in HRIS management (especially BambooHR), strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and grow your ability to manage budgets, logistics, and employee relations in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
