  • • As a People Operations Lead at Miro, Inc., you will be the cornerstone of our Global People Operations Team in the Amsterdam hub, acting as the local operational heartbeat for our employees. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will be the primary point of contact for HR-related matters within the Netherlands, ensuring a seamless and supportive employee experience throughout their entire journey with Miro.
  • • You will be instrumental in operationalizing Miro's global people strategies within the specific context of Dutch labor laws and regulations. This involves becoming a subject matter expert, developing and implementing local processes, policies, and programs that align with both global standards and local compliance requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in training and educating your colleagues on these local nuances, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the board.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be maintaining rigorous local compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring Miro adheres to all relevant Dutch labor laws, including managing compliance reporting, government filings, Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) processes, and workers' compensation. Regular audits will be conducted under your supervision to guarantee ongoing adherence to all legal and regulatory obligations.
  • • You will serve as a key member of the frontline People Support team, contributing to the People Help Portal. Your responsibilities will include providing timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries regarding HR programs, policies, and benefits. While your primary focus will be on the Netherlands, you will also support global tickets, applying a global-to-local lens to ensure our worldwide standards are effectively translated and implemented in the local environment.
  • • Embracing innovation, you will actively identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI and automation technologies to enhance People Operations efficiency. This includes evaluating, adopting, and implementing new tools and service delivery technologies that streamline workflows, improve employee self-service capabilities, and ultimately elevate the operational excellence of the team. You will be at the forefront of translating these technological advancements into practical, scalable solutions.
  • • You will own the execution of critical People Operations processes across the entire employee lifecycle. This encompasses managing onboarding, processing job changes, coordinating leaves of absence and UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) matters, and overseeing offboarding procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure these day-to-day operations run smoothly, while also contributing to broader team priorities and strategic projects.
  • • Accurate HR data and record management are paramount. You will be responsible for the precise maintenance of employee profiles, HR data, and other recordkeeping systems for all employees in the Netherlands. Ensuring all employee records are up-to-date, confidential, and compliant with GDPR and local data protection regulations will be a core part of your duties.
  • • Close collaboration with the Payroll Team is essential. You will work hand-in-hand to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing, managing pay changes, leaves, and other employee updates in strict accordance with Dutch legislation. You will act as the primary local contact for payroll-related inputs and proactively flag any discrepancies or issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • • In addition to payroll, you will provide comprehensive support for the administration of employee benefits programs in the Netherlands, ensuring all offerings comply with local requirements and are effectively communicated to employees.
  • • A commitment to continuous improvement will drive your approach. You will actively seek out and propose enhancements to People Operations processes and practices. Your participation in cross-functional projects and initiatives will be vital in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive employee experience across the entire People Operations function.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your HR expertise within a fast-paced, global technology company. You will be empowered to make a tangible impact on the employee experience and the operational success of Miro, contributing to our mission of empowering teams to create the next big thing.
