- • Own day-to-day People Operations for Cashalo’s Philippines entity, including payroll administration, statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG/HDMF, 13th month pay), and local benefits programs for Philippines-based employees.
- • Manage the full employee lifecycle for PH-based staff, from onboarding through offboarding, in close coordination with the global People team.
- • Execute local hiring operations: handle pre-employment requirements, issue offer letters, and ensure onboarding readiness as the critical link between global recruiting and local candidate experience.
- • Navigate employee relations in compliance with Philippine Labor Code: apply the twin-notice rule, manage administrative hearings, oversee termination proceedings, and represent the company in SENA, escalating to legal counsel when necessary.
- • Build scalable People Ops systems by developing playbooks, leveraging HRIS tooling, and embedding AI into workflows for policy drafting, employee feedback synthesis, and regulatory change research to scale the function without increasing headcount.
- • Serve as the primary Philippine subject-matter expert on labor law and cultural context, identifying conflicts between global HR programs and local requirements, and translating global frameworks into locally effective practices.
- • Manage and develop junior HR team members as the People Ops function matures, providing mentorship and setting standards for operational excellence.
- • Ensure all HR processes align with Philippine statutory obligations and company policies, maintaining rigorous data accuracy across HR systems.
- • Partner with global recruiting teams to deliver a seamless candidate experience on the ground in the Philippines, ensuring alignment between global standards and local execution.
- • Proactively monitor regulatory changes in Philippine labor law and advise leadership on implications for company policy and operations.
- • Drive operational efficiency by automating repetitive HR tasks and implementing digital solutions that reduce manual workload while improving compliance and employee experience.
- • Act as the trusted local representative of Tilt’s global People strategy, ensuring cultural and legal appropriateness in all people-related initiatives within the Philippines.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–9 years of HR/People Ops experience with hands-on command of Philippine HR operations: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG/HDMF, 13th month pay, and the full compliance landscape.
- • Deep working knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code: twin-notice rule, due process requirements, administrative hearings, and SENA proceedings.
- • Proven experience running local hiring operations: offer execution, pre-employment requirements, onboarding readiness in partnership with a centralized recruiting team.
- • Hands-on HRIS experience with a rigorous approach to data accuracy, and demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate People Ops work.
- • Comfortable operating without a perfect playbook: you do the work yourself while building the systems others will follow.
- • Experience managing or developing junior HR team members.
