📋 Description

• As a People Operations Specialist at Lendable Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in transforming HR processes through AI and automation while ensuring compliance and employee experience excellence in a fast-growing UK fintech unicorn. This role is critical to scaling operations efficiently as Lendable expands into the UK and US markets, directly supporting the company’s mission to revolutionize consumer finance through technology.
• You will own end-to-end HR workflows including contract issuance, benefits administration, Right to Work checks, visa sponsorship, and employee lifecycle management, leveraging systems like Bamboo HR and Deel to maintain data integrity and drive process innovation. Your work will balance technical automation with empathetic employee relations, ensuring compliance standards remain high as the team grows beyond 700 people.
• You will join a high-performing, resourceful People team reporting directly to the VP of People, collaborating closely with People Partners and business leaders to deliver scalable, people-centric solutions that align with Lendable’s culture of ownership and innovation.
• In this role, you will develop expertise in HR automation, AI-driven process design, global compliance (particularly UK visa and Right to Work), and HR analytics — gaining hands-on experience in building scalable People Operations infrastructure at a profitable, high-growth fintech backed by Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs.
• You will produce actionable HR insights through reporting and analytics, influence People strategy, and enhance employee experience by refining processes such as probation reviews, absence management, family leave, and flexible working — all while contributing to an inclusive, high-trust workplace recognized for exceptional employee satisfaction (4.9 Trustpilot rating).

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a People Operations, HR Operations, or similar role within a fast-moving, scaling environment.
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies in manual HR processes (e.g., spreadsheets, contract generation) and drive automation or AI-based solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong technical curiosity and comfort experimenting with emerging HR tech tools, including AI platforms and HRIS systems like Bamboo HR or Deel.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset — proactive in resolving immediate issues (e.g., data errors) while designing sustainable, long-term system improvements.
• High level of discretion, empathy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee relations matters and personal data.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in compliance-critical areas such as Right to Work checks, visa management, and benefits administration.
