- • The People Operations & Workplace Experience Specialist role at Airwallex is a hybrid position focused on ensuring smooth HR operations and fostering a vibrant workplace culture in the rapidly growing Toronto office. This role is critical to supporting the company’s expansion in Canada and maintaining high standards in employee experience during a period of significant growth.
- • Day to day, the incumbent will own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries via a ticketing system, maintain accurate HRIS and payroll data, support payroll processing including commissions and bonuses, administer benefits programs in compliance with Canadian regulations, oversee daily office operations in a WeWork environment, act as a front-of-house presence for visitors and deliveries, and support employee engagement initiatives such as events and celebrations.
- • The role sits within the broader People team supporting the Americas region, with specific focus on building out HR infrastructure and workplace culture in Toronto while contributing to cross-border efforts across the US, Mexico, and Brazil. The individual will work closely with HR and operations partners to scale processes and improve employee experience.
- • In this role, the individual will gain deep exposure to end-to-end HR operations in a high-growth tech environment, develop expertise in Canadian HR compliance and benefits administration, build skills in process improvement and automation using AI and tech tools, and grow their impact as a culture champion in a globally recognized fintech company backed by top-tier investors.
