- • The People Ops role at Alan SAS is essential for scaling HR operations and ensuring a smooth employee experience across all countries where the company operates, including France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada, as well as for employees under employment of record.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing onboarding operations, international mobility and visa processes, training coordination, daily administrative tasks, leave management, and supporting individual employee situations with growing autonomy.
- • The role involves scaling operations through user-centric documentation, automating recurring processes, streamlining workflows, and actively seeking opportunities to leverage AI to amplify impact.
- • You will work closely with a mentor from the People team, gradually building expertise in either People Ops or People Growth paths based on your strengths and team needs, with clear milestones for autonomy and impact by 2.5 and 5 months.
- • The team operates under Alan’s leadership principles: mission-driven, distributed ownership, radical transparency, and continuous growth, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- • This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that transform health benefits into strategic assets for employers while supporting employees’ long-term well-being.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least some prior experience in HR, including internships or recent graduate experience
- • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as all internal processes and communications are conducted in English
- • Based in Paris (Valmy headquarters) or one of Alan’s physical offices in France
- • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt when workload or context shifts
- • Rigorous mindset with strong attention to detail
- • Autonomous problem-solving approach: able to propose a way forward when identifying issues, while knowing when to seek guidance
- • Interest in automating and improving recurring processes, not just executing them
- • Enthusiasm for AI and actively seeking opportunities to use tools to amplify work
