📋 Description
- • Partner with senior leaders across the business to translate commercial priorities into actionable people strategies that support organisational growth, performance, and agility.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership teams, providing pragmatic, legally compliant guidance on complex employee relations matters and sensitive workplace issues.
- • Lead end-to-end resolution of high-risk employee relations cases, ensuring alignment with UK employment law and internal people principles while protecting both employee and organisational interests.
- • Coach and challenge leaders to improve accountability, decision-making, and team performance through one-on-one support, difficult conversation frameworks, and performance management guidance.
- • Design, evolve, and deliver practical leadership development initiatives focused on feedback, coaching, performance, and management effectiveness, ensuring tools are adopted and impactful at scale.
- • Identify recurring leadership and organisational challenges, translating insights into scalable frameworks, resources, and learning programs that reduce risk and enhance manager capability.
- • Partner with leaders to address performance, engagement, retention, and team effectiveness issues in real time, using data and business context to prioritise interventions with maximum impact.
- • Act as a steward of company culture by ensuring leadership behaviours consistently reflect core values and foster psychological safety, inclusion, and alignment during periods of change and growth.
- • Proactively identify emerging people risks and organisational inefficiencies before they escalate, initiating strategic interventions to maintain team effectiveness and employee experience.
- • Collaborate closely with the People Operations Lead and People Product Specialist to ensure consistency, clarity, and operational excellence across all people practices.
- • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing multiple priorities with pace, autonomy, and high standards in a fast-scaling, ambiguous environment.
- • Build credibility and trust quickly with senior stakeholders through sound judgment, discretion, and a solutions-oriented approach that aligns employee experience with business outcomes.
- • Drive the design of practical, low-burden performance systems that promote clarity, development, and accountability without unnecessary bureaucracy or process overhead.
- • Use data and business insight to spot trends in turnover, engagement, and team dynamics, informing targeted actions that improve retention, morale, and organisational health.
- • Support leadership through major organisational transitions, including team restructuring, rapid hiring, and cultural evolution, ensuring teams remain motivated, aligned, and effective.
- • Champion equitable and fair people practices, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments while adapting approaches to meet the unique needs of different teams and functions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Significant experience in HR Business Partnering or People Partnering roles within high-growth or scaling environments
- • Deep expertise in employee relations and strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with proven ability to handle complex, sensitive matters end-to-end
- • Proven track record in building leadership capability through coaching, manager development programs, and practical learning initiatives
- • Strong judgment, influencing skills, and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-paced settings
- • Comfort operating with autonomy in ambiguous environments, creating structure and clarity where none exists
- • Pragmatic, action-oriented approach balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
