• The Paid Growth team is seeking a highly experienced Performance Marketing Manager to spearhead the strategy and execution of global performance marketing campaigns. This role is pivotal in driving user acquisition objectives, with a primary focus on bringing new transacting users into Kraken's comprehensive suite of products, including Kraken Consumer, Kraken Pro, Kraken Futures, and other innovative offerings. You will report directly to the Director, Paid Marketing, and will be instrumental in shaping the future of our paid acquisition efforts.
• In this critical role, you will own and meticulously optimize Kraken's paid strategy across key Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) such as Liftoff and Yahoo, as well as paid social channels including Snap and Reddit. Your mandate will be to ensure all campaigns are rigorously data-driven, precisely aligned with overarching growth objectives, and consistently deliver a strong Return on Investment (ROI). The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the crypto and Web3 landscape, coupled with an insatiable passion for data, analytics, and performance optimization.
• You will be responsible for driving user acquisition across both web and app platforms, with a strategic focus on a variety of global regions. Our in-house performance channel leads are essential in bridging the gap between high-level growth strategy and hands-on channel experimentation. You will bring analytical rigor, creative thinking, and a relentless curiosity to uncover incremental growth opportunities that support our acquisition efforts across the entire Kraken product ecosystem.

• Key responsibilities include leading the paid DSP and social strategy, development, and execution to effectively scale Kraken's growth on a global scale. You will manage and optimize user acquisition campaigns with the explicit goal of achieving Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and payback period targets across all priority geographies and customer segments.
• A crucial aspect of this role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on campaign effectiveness. You will provide detailed analysis and actionable strategic recommendations to drive continuous improvement and ensure optimal campaign performance. Effectively managing a multi-million dollar monthly performance marketing budget will be a core duty, requiring astute financial oversight and strategic allocation.
• You will drive continuous campaign improvement through rigorous Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, extensive testing, and iterative optimization to scale user acquisition within paid channels. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including creative, data analytics, product marketing, and regional growth teams, will be essential to ensure alignment on campaign goals, strategies, and execution.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned will ensure a comprehensive contribution to the Paid Growth team's success. This role demands a proactive approach, a willingness to embrace new challenges, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance marketing in the rapidly evolving crypto industry.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on paid social and DSP channels.
• Proven experience in consumer tech products, with a focus on transactional goals and a demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns beyond initial installs or sign-ups to drive valuable, long-term users.
• Proficiency with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Branch, and a strong understanding of analytics tools, attribution models, and key performance metrics.
• Deep understanding of the crypto/Web3 landscape and a passion for data-driven decision-making, with the ability to model performance, assess signal, and iterate quickly.
