- • The Zebra is seeking a highly analytical and creative Performance Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and elevate our customer engagement strategies. This pivotal role goes beyond standard campaign management; it involves architecting thoughtful, performance-driven touchpoints that resonate with our audience, provide genuine value, and ultimately drive conversions. You will be instrumental in shaping how we connect with consumers, making their insurance research and shopping experience more intuitive, delightful, and effective.
- • As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will own and execute comprehensive performance marketing campaigns across various platforms, including our established affiliate program (Impact Radius), diverse media networks, and emerging digital channels. Your mandate will be to identify, test, and scale new opportunities that expand our market reach and drive measurable business outcomes. This requires a proactive approach to exploring innovative channels, forging strategic partnerships, and experimenting with novel creative formats to capture attention and generate leads.
- • A core aspect of this role is the continuous pursuit of optimization through rigorous testing and data analysis. You will be responsible for developing clear hypotheses, designing well-structured experiments, and meticulously measuring results to extract actionable insights. This data-driven methodology will be the bedrock for optimizing return on investment (ROI) and ensuring our marketing spend is as efficient and impactful as possible. You will leverage a suite of analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate raw data into strategic recommendations.
- • Budget management and financial forecasting will be critical responsibilities. You will oversee budgets, monitor pacing, and develop accurate forecasts across multiple campaigns and channels, ensuring financial discipline and maximizing the impact of our marketing investments. This requires a keen understanding of financial metrics and the ability to align marketing spend with business objectives.
- • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with our creative and brand teams to develop compelling ad assets. This involves providing clear briefs, offering constructive feedback, and ensuring that all creative materials are tailored to the specific nuances and best practices of each platform, thereby maximizing their effectiveness.
- • You will be the primary point of contact for reporting on campaign performance, channel mix effectiveness, and key learnings. This involves synthesizing complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing leadership, product teams, and executive management. Your ability to communicate insights effectively will be crucial in driving strategic decisions and fostering alignment across the organization.
- • Staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving landscape of performance marketing is essential. You will be expected to continuously research and identify emerging trends, new technologies, and innovative strategies that can provide a competitive advantage. This forward-thinking approach will ensure The Zebra remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
- • This role is ideal for individuals who possess a unique blend of creativity and analytical prowess. If you are excited by the prospect of exploring new media frontiers, disciplined in your approach to measurement and ROI, and possess an insatiable hunger to grow your skills within a fast-paced, data-centric environment, you will thrive at The Zebra.
- • You will contribute to a culture that values experimentation and continuous learning, where insights are shared openly, and successes are celebrated. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth, making this a highly visible and rewarding position within the company.
- • The flexibility in work location, offering remote, hybrid, or in-office options in Austin, Texas, provides an excellent work-life balance. This role is designed for someone who is not only a skilled marketer but also a proactive problem-solver and a collaborative team player, eager to make a significant impact at a leading insurtech company.
