  • • The Pet Benefits Account Executive plays a pivotal role in the expansion and success of Synergy Pet Group's offerings. This position is fundamentally centered on cultivating, nurturing, and managing robust relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance brokers, employers, and direct clients. The primary objective is to deliver highly customized and impactful pet benefit solutions that resonate with the needs of both organizations and their employees. This role is instrumental in driving new business acquisition, ensuring the retention of our valued existing clients, and providing critical support for employee benefit enrollment initiatives. By doing so, the Account Executive will significantly enhance the overall benefits package offered by employers and elevate the employee experience, making pet wellness a more accessible and integrated part of employee well-being.
  • • **Business Development Excellence:**
  • • Proactively identify, prospect, and cultivate new voluntary benefits opportunities within your assigned territory or designated client segments. This involves strategic market analysis and targeted outreach to potential partners.
  • • Establish and meticulously maintain strong, trust-based relationships with insurance brokers, benefits consultants, and employer partners. Your ability to be a reliable and knowledgeable resource will be key to fostering long-term collaborations.
  • • Skillfully deliver compelling presentations and develop tailored proposals that precisely align with each client’s unique workforce demographics, organizational culture, and overarching benefits strategy. This requires a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
  • • Oversee the seamless implementation of new pet benefit programs, ensuring a smooth transition for clients and their employees. This includes managing the initial setup and ongoing service delivery.
  • • Coordinate and manage comprehensive enrollment initiatives. This encompasses strategic scheduling, developing effective communication plans to maximize participation, and configuring the enrollment technology platform to meet specific client requirements.
  • • Conduct regular, thorough account reviews with clients to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure clients receive proactive, high-quality service and accurate billing.
  • • **Collaborative Synergy:**
  • • Foster close working relationships with various internal Synergy Pet Group teams, including Enrollment, Underwriting, Marketing, and Operations. Your collaboration will be essential to guarantee a cohesive and exceptional client experience from start to finish.
  • • Engage effectively with external carriers and vendors. This includes negotiating favorable terms, efficiently resolving any arising issues, and actively contributing to the design and enhancement of our pet benefit programs.
  • • **Education and Product Mastery:**
  • • Conduct engaging employee education sessions and informative webinars. These sessions are designed to empower participants with a clear understanding of their voluntary benefits options and the value they bring.
  • • Develop and maintain an in-depth, expert-level product knowledge of both Synergy Pet Group's offerings and those of our key competitors. This continuous learning ensures you can effectively position our solutions and address client inquiries with confidence.
