  • • The Pharmacy Analyst II plays a critical role in supporting pharmacy operations across Commercial and Marketplace lines of business at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, ensuring pharmacy benefits are accurately configured and validated for PBM 1/1 readiness while protecting member experience and supporting regulatory compliance.
  • • Day to day, the role involves implementing business strategies, leading investigations into service disruptions, collaborating on process improvements, coordinating cross-functional initiatives with clinical, IT, finance, and vendor teams, maintaining compliance knowledge, sharing knowledge in team sessions, and managing project workstreams to align with pharmacy objectives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of professional work experience)
  • • Minimum 4 years of Healthcare Industry experience
  • • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, technical, project management, product, or related field
  • • Demonstrated experience supporting or overseeing healthcare contracts with ability to interpret and apply benefit and reimbursement terms
  • • Prior experience working with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) in auditing, benefit validation, or claims review
  • • Strong analytical capabilities including running reports, validating data, and researching complex operational issues
