  • • As a Substance Use Counselor at Better Life Partners Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction by providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling services.
  • • You will interact regularly with clients, referral sources, field staff, and local community members, serving as a trusted resource who guides individuals toward sustainable recovery paths.
  • • Working alongside a high-impact interdisciplinary team of medical providers, recovery coaches, and coordinators, you will contribute to holistic care plans that integrate virtual and in-person support, medication-assisted treatment, and community-based resources.
  • • Your consistent feedback and clinical insights will be essential in helping clients achieve optimal outcomes, thrive in recovery, and rebuild lives filled with belonging, love, and purpose.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a substance use counselor in the state of Maine
  • • Proven experience providing individual and group counseling to individuals with substance use disorders
  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients, families, and community partners
  • • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including medical providers and recovery coaches
  • • Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care practices
