📋 Description
- • A Pharmacy Technician role focused on prescription routing and claims support, playing a key role in ensuring timely and accurate access to medications through Phil’s health-tech platform.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions; verifying and updating patient insurance; determining prior authorization needs; navigating pharmacy and payer systems; documenting reroute actions; and communicating with pharmacies, providers, and insurers to resolve issues.
- • Phil is a mission-driven, Series D health-tech startup founded in 2015, revolutionizing prescription access by connecting doctors, pharmacies, and patients through an end-to-end B2B2C platform that improves adherence and health outcomes.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in insurance workflows, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy operations while contributing to patient care and gaining experience in a fast-growing, innovative healthcare technology environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence
- • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in Specialty, Mail Order, PBM, or Retail settings
- • Working knowledge of insurance claim rejections, prior authorizations, override codes, and split billing scenarios
- • Ability to navigate operational platforms such as BestRx, Ops Dash, Partner Dash, and RelayHealth
- • Strong written documentation and case management skills
- • PTCB certification (preferred)
