  • • The Senior Trade Relations Analyst plays a critical role in Prime Therapeutics’ mission to connect care beyond profits by conducting sophisticated financial analyses that directly impact pharmaceutical rebate agreements, manufacturer contract performance, and client net cost outcomes—ensuring the company delivers value-driven pharmacy solutions that improve affordability and access for patients.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting contract negotiators with financial analyses of manufacturer rebate proposals through sensitivity analyses, competitive offer assessments, and scenario building; researching, compiling, and analyzing rebate pricing and trending data for client-facing documents; leading the completion of RFP documents involving financial analysis, formulary comparisons, and net cost improvement recommendations; creating complex SAS EG queries with multiple table joins and detailed formulas to extract and manipulate data; representing the Trade Relations department at client Pharmacy and Therapeutic Review meetings to support net cost discussions; developing financial contract assessment tools and reporting support systems; leading non-financial analyses such as marketplace assessments and formulary status tracking to strengthen manufacturer relationships; and mentoring new analysts through training documentation and procedure development.
  • • The Trade Relations team at Prime Therapeutics operates at the intersection of finance, healthcare, and pharmaceutical strategy, collaborating closely with contract managers, clients, and cross-functional partners to optimize rebate structures and drive transparency in drug pricing—contributing to Prime’s differentiated PBM model that prioritizes patient outcomes over pure margin.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare finance, pharmaceutical contracting, and data analytics while gaining visibility into strategic client engagements and corporate strategy discussions; you’ll build advanced technical skills in SAS EG and Microsoft Excel/Access, sharpen your ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations, and position yourself for growth into lead analyst, specialist, or management roles within Prime’s expanding Trade Relations and Market Access organizations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience; high school diploma or GED required
  • • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in contracts, finance, and/or healthcare industries
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word, including complex formula creation, data manipulation, and reporting
