- • Report directly to the Head of Physical Security to develop, procure, and maintain all hardware and software components of Harvey’s global physical security systems and infrastructure.
- • Identify and incorporate unique physical security requirements from business units, operations, and facilities, alongside applicable regulatory standards, into system design specifications.
- • Apply industry-wide best practices in physical security systems planning, design, architectural measures, and operational guidelines to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- • Define, document, and maintain comprehensive project planning materials including scope of work documents, statements of work (SOWs), schedules, cost estimates, and project plans.
- • Communicate security system concepts, design recommendations, and project overviews clearly to end users, security vendors, and cross-functional teams during planning and schematic phases.
- • Review architectural drawings and technical specifications for security systems, coordinating necessary revisions and modifications to align with project goals and safety standards.
- • Escalate critical issues such as equipment delays, system malfunctions, or vendor response failures to appropriate internal departments, external providers, or management personnel.
- • Manage multiple third-party security vendors to ensure timely delivery, installation, and maintenance of physical security technology across global locations.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the installation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of physical security systems in Harvey’s offices and facilities worldwide.
- • Ensure all physical security technology deployments meet operational needs while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging physical security technologies and evaluate their applicability to Harvey’s global infrastructure.
- • Prepare and disseminate documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and internal training related to physical security systems.
- • Participate in on-site evaluations of facilities to assess security posture and recommend technology upgrades or modifications.
- • Support domestic and international travel as required to oversee system installations, conduct site assessments, and coordinate with local vendors or security personnel.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office, Google applications, and office management technology to manage documentation, scheduling, reporting, and vendor communications.
- • Contribute to the growth and development of the global physical security team by sharing expertise and promoting standardized processes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2-3 years of security systems engineering, administration, and project management experience in a fast-paced service organization.
- • Prior experience in the physical security or other service-related industry, law enforcement, or military is highly desired.
- • Experience managing multiple security vendors.
- • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Google applications, and office management technology.
- • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
