- • As a PK/PD Principal Scientist at Zoetis Inc., you will play a critical role in discovering and developing novel therapeutics for veterinary medicine by leading in vivo pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies across multiple species, directly contributing to the advancement of animal health innovations from early research through late-stage development.
- • Day to day, you will independently design and analyze in vivo PK/PD, PK, and TK studies, write study protocols and reports, conduct modeling and simulation to support candidate selection and dose optimization, collaborate with bioanalytical teams on assay suitability, and present findings to scientific, management, and regulatory stakeholders.
- • You will join Zoetis’ Veterinary Medicine Research and Development (VMRD) team, a global leader in animal health dedicated to improving the well-being of animals through science-driven innovation, where cross-functional collaboration and scientific excellence are core to mission success.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in PK/PD modeling, regulatory science, and translational research while leading scientific strategy around biomarkers and target engagement, gaining influence in shaping therapeutic development and interacting with regulatory agencies on submissions and guidance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ph.D in pharmacology, biochemistry, or related field with 4+ years of relevant pharmaceutical development experience
- • Proven ability to design, analyze, and interpret in vivo PK and PK/PD studies
- • Skilled in PK/PD analysis software such as WinNonlin, Monolix, or Watson
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Self-starter with ability to prioritize work and operate efficiently with minimal supervision
- • Working knowledge of bioanalytical methodology
🏖️ Benefits
- • US base salary range of $114,000 - $185,000 for this full-time position
- • Eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive compensation
