• As a Platform Engineer within the Data & AI Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role at the critical juncture of platform reliability and delivery automation. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the robust stability, scalability, and continuous enhancement of the foundational infrastructure that underpins our advanced AI platform, intricate data pipelines, and essential internal applications.
• This is a deeply hands-on engineering position, integral to the team responsible for building Layer 1 of HHAeXchange’s AI Platform. You will be instrumental in developing the core machinery that empowers AI-driven capabilities throughout the entire organization. Your ownership will extend to the reliability and deployment lifecycle of this vital infrastructure, collaborating closely with AI Platform Engineers and Data & AI Engineers to effectively operationalize all components developed on the AWS cloud environment.
• As our AI platform continues its sophisticated evolution and our suite of internal tooling expands, this role will serve as the essential connective tissue. You will be the crucial link between accelerating development velocity and maintaining unwavering production stability, ensuring that all developed solutions are deployed reliably, monitored with proactive vigilance, and scaled with absolute confidence.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical engineering tasks. You will be actively involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our AI and data initiatives, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• You will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process for AI models, data pipelines, and related services, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
• You will implement and enforce infrastructure-as-code principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage AWS resources, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
• You will focus on enhancing the observability of our platform by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.
• You will collaborate with Data & AI Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of critical systems.
• You will contribute to the security posture of the platform by implementing and adhering to security best practices within the AWS environment.
• You will actively participate in capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure our infrastructure can meet growing demands.
• You will be a key contributor to the continuous improvement of our platform's architecture and operational processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, RDS, and IAM.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and best practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
